E U G E N E   M O R E L L I

Eugene Morelli of Missoula, Montana began sculpting in 1980 after graduating from the University of Montana with a degree in Biology.  His colorful and intricately detailed bronzes are collected throughout the world.  Eugene Morelli's world class bird sculpture has won numerous awards in National and International competition.  His work blends accuracy and detail with impressionistic textures and artistic sculptural design to capture motion and the essence of each species depicted.  Much of Eugene's success as an artist is attributable to his extensive study of wild birds and wildlife in the field.  This field work gives him the knowledge and versatility to achieve the realism in his work and also maintains the joy and excitement so clearly visible in his art.
